Stage 2 Coffee House is owned by Mark Peacock, who also oversees the management of the shops.
The cafe started in 2016, Mark is known as the ‘Coffee Man’ amongst other things.
Having come from a PLC, thinking of early retirement, Mark started to sell coffee beans from around the world, Cuban being his favourite. Mark loves to entertain and put a smile on friends' faces.
Then the opportunity arose to open Stage 2 Coffee House where he can put a bigger smile on customers' faces. Mark has worked hard building a loyal clientele, delivering honest, good value food, from the humble bacon butty to delicious toasted paninis, bagels, summer salads, sharing platters, daily specials, and weekly offers.
We have our own blended pure Arabica coffee, fair trade teas, frappe’s. smoothies and ice cream milkshakes.
Real dairy ice cream by Yorvale, who have their very own Friesian dairy herd.
We have great homemade cakes including GF lemon cake. “The best lemon cake I ever tasted”, says Mark.

From late 2018 we started to cater for theatre events from scrummy buffets to 100 covers for Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.
Corporate, birthday, weddings, funerals, quiz nights and meet & greets.

Hoping to soon start themed nights and a monthly Supper Club.
We serve home-cooked meals or snacks and light bites. Cakes and ice creams are available for those with a sweet tooth - or if you just fancy a drink our range of teas, coffees and cold drinks will certainly quench your thirst.
